Dead Signal — co-op zombie survival

// incoming transmission — source unknown

// transmission log — day unknown

Since the incident, survivors from all over the world have been drifting south. The heat down here is brutal — but it's the one thing on our side: it leaves the infected sluggish and slow, far less dangerous than they are elsewhere.

Word is there's a military base not far from here. If anyone can still get us out, it's them. We just have to reach them.

Chapter 01 — The Signal

Find the broadcast

Somewhere out in the wasteland, an old radio station is still standing. Use your radio detector to track it down, get it running again, and send out the call for help.

It won't be simple. The station is dead and its parts are scattered across the map — explore, follow the signal, and scavenge the components needed to repair it. Bring it back online, flip the switch, and rescue is one broadcast away.

Chapter 02 — Weapons & the World

Arm up, then comb the ruins

Rifles, shotguns, or a trusty axe — scavenge what you can and make every shot count. Ammo is never guaranteed.

The world is full of resources to barricade yourself in and fight back. Loot abandoned cars and the buildings — or what's left of them — but stay sharp: some still have the dead inside. And every tile can be dug: switch to search mode and break ground to turn up supplies you'd never spot on the surface.

  • FirearmsRifles and shotguns — watch your ammo.
  • MeleeSave your bullets and swing up close.

Chapter 03 — The Night

Survive until dawn

After dark

When the sun drops, the horde comes. Every night, waves of zombies pour across the map hunting for fresh flesh — and their numbers grow with each passing day. Watch for the boss zombies, too: bigger, meaner, and far harder to put down.

Stay hydrated

Out here, thirst kills as surely as the dead. Around 10% hydration you'll already feel yourself slowing; hit 0% and you'll crawl — and start losing health. Drink from the well in your starting zone, and never head out without a few water rations packed.

Chapter 04 — Build & Ride

Raise a stronghold

Turn scrap into defenses before dark: wood and stone walls, a watch tower for high ground, a generator for power, and turrets to hold the perimeter while you focus on surviving.

The Quad

Find a quad and you've got a way to cover ground fast — but it won't start on its own. Repair it and fill the tank with fuel, and the wasteland suddenly feels a lot smaller.
